Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words, other times words stand little chance of describing it.

When I started this blog back in the fall of 2007 I had very little aspirations for it.  It was just something to help maintain my sanity while attempting to forge a career in a field that I had no business being in (Finance).  I’ve wanted to be a writer for as far back as I can remember, but I settled for being a blogger.  Of all of the mediums that I blog in, thesilencekid always has been my favorite to contribute to.  I know it doesn’t show, since I’ve managed a measily 27 posts in nearly two years, but I shit you not.

I’m sorry to all of those loyal readers who check back here everyday to see if I’ve got something new, you could make it much easier on yourself by following me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/thesilencekid.  Although I must admit, I love looking at the analytics just to see that you’ve visited, it’s called self-esteem.  Thank you.

I’ll be posting more often now, after careful deliberation I’ve decided to devote more of my time to thesilencekid.  The problem in the past was that because this is considered a “personal” blog, I paid to much attention too what I deemed post-worthy.  Well not anymore.  I promise I’ll never “mail it in” on thesilencekid, but you can expect a minimum of 3 posts per week including occasional link-dumps ‘cuz they’re fun and easy.  See you soon.
